Mark Matheson

Director - Modern Edge Physiotherapy

Mark is qualified as both a Physiotherapist and an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Mark has completed the process to be recognised as an Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist after completing his Masters at Latrobe University.

Since completing his Masters he has worked alongside Port Macquarie Xray in developing a dynamic shoulder assessment to assist in understanding movement impairments that contribute to loss of shoulder function and pain. Mark is also a lecturer and coordinator within the Physiotherapy program at Charles Sturt University (CSU), Port Macquarie campus. Mark is also involved in the strengthening and conditioning of students at the Port Macquarie Performing Arts studios, and has been involved with the Port Macquarie Pirates Rugby Union Club for a number of years.

Mark moved to Port Macquarie five years ago with his wife and they have made it their home with their two children. He and his wife enjoy the lifestyle Port Macquarie offers, and spend as much time as possible with their young children on the beaches and other outdoor areas in Port Macquarie and neighbouring communities.
